- is/Modeler is a process-modeling tool that will help
you to analyze your business, system, or project to identify
sequencing, costs, dependencies, and more. It's powerful yet
flexible, featuring an intuitive interface and a wide range of
tools and palettes. It can be used for activity-based costing
(ABC), process analysis, business process reengineering (BPR),
continuous process improvement (CPI), total quality management
(TQM), requirements communications, creation of training
systems, force sizing, and more. It employs drawing tools,
relational database tables, spreadsheet computation
capabilities, and a graphical interface to diagram exactly
what's going on in your operations. Sample data illustrates
many of the features, and both online and context-sensitive
help are available. The interface can be overpowering
initially, but time spent learning the program will reap
significant rewards. The demo version is fully functional;
however, you won't be able to save processes with more than 10
steps.
